COH: Sleeping Beauties

Found these two guys sleeping in a car on Seward. They looked identical- matching track jackets, facial hair...could've been twins. So here's a quick one- I lost my Toonboom license at work.

COH: Pinky

Watched this guy almost get hit by the car in front of me, crossing Las Palmas at Hollywood Blvd. He ran across the street just like this before he went diving into a trash can.

COH: Wolfman

It's been a while since I have been able to have a little time to myself, so COH has been put on the back burner. This guy was spotted a while ago at the Hudson Cafe on Santa Monica Blvd. Stephanie Arnette gets credit for this find. We were talking in the cafe, unwinding, and she points out this fella waiting for some friends/clients. His eyebrows were glorious.

COH: Skinbag

I saw this one crossing Hollywood Blvd. He looked like a smooth sheet of skin shrink-wrapped over a skeleton.

COH: Herr Him-Her

Here's a real treat for you. She-ish is a local resident around Lexington and Seward, right next to Titmouse. The first time I saw her-ish was when I came to the studio for an interview for my current position. So I guess she-ish is lucky!

Edit: 1-7-14
A colleague, Dan Forgione, has directed me to a picture of Herr Him Her taken by his friend, Mikael Dawson. Here's the picture:

A few tips on how to pitch a board

I drew this up because quite a few board artists on our show have not traditionally pitched a storyboard before. As we start a new season we thought we'd warm up our board artists to the idea before we got too far in to the show. All the characters are Randy Cunningham characters, in case you're wondering.

Thanks to my colleagues Josh Taback and Stephanie Arnett for their contributions to the presentation.

Enjoy!

Citizens of Hollywood: Scooter

Since I'm working at Titmouse in Hollywood now, I get to see all kinds of remarkable people. I will share my findings in my new installment "Citizens of Hollywood".

Squirrel Design

I'm designing a squirrel character, and I am obviously trying to resolve proportions for the character. This would be for TV, so I'm trying to simplify it as well. Any suggestions for reference?
